Education and Training

The debate about the future of education and training in law has already begun, over questions of who gets into law school; how many graduates are too many; and whether a theory-based education is of any use to a practice-based world. So what should law schools start doing now in order to put their graduates in the best position to succeed in the future? And the schools themselves are just the first step. Clients are declaring themselves less willing to underwrite training in law firms. What’s the solution? There’s also the question of the role to be played by post-call education, amongst other questions.
